I struggled for a while trying to decide if I should post these photos; when we shot this look the lighting wasn’t great and it gave the photos a blue-ish hue but I love this outfit so much and feel it deserves to be seen! This romper gives me major 70s party girl vibes. I know stripes can be intimidating especially for curvy girls like myself but the warm tone of thisamazing that I refuse to let the shape of my body determine stop me from wearing something I love.
I love the warm green, tobacco brown and cream colour combo. By using these colours it helps to soften the harsh lines that stripes create. The bow tie neck has to be my favourite part of the outfit, it’s right on trend with all the chokers that are hot right now and it creates this flattering key hole effect, which is classy way to show some cleavage. Partly I wish I had paired this jumper with a waistline tobacco brown belt, just to define my waist a bit more but unfortunately I didn’t have one that I liked. C’est la vie! I paired this romper with my brown knee high Michael Kors boots to really give it that 70’s go-go flare and of course I couldn’t leave my bright orange bowling ball inspired bag at home, the colours are just too perfect!
What do you guys think of this 70’s inspired romper? Would you dress it up with heels or down with flats?
