This has to be my favourite look I’ve shot so far this September! It combines three things I love; patches, a LBD and sneakers. I love taking a fancy little black dress and pairing it with sneakers to give it a casual day to evening vibe. I threw the jean jacket over top of this dress to add some texture and give the look a little flare with the patches that I used to customize the jacket.
I was really inspired by the patch customization contest that Princess Polly was hosting this summer; all the contestants did such an amazing job decorating their jackets that I just needed to patch my own jacket ASAP. If you follow me on Instagram (@Toomanyhatss) you would know that I have a serious obsession with Princess Polly at the moment. They create the most beautiful and on trend items at a great price point. Everything I’ve received from them has been great quality and has fit me so well. I highly recommend checking them out! I’ll add a link below so their website is easy to find.
For accessories I wore simple classic black and white adidas Superstars to give it a sporty chic look and so that I could dance all night without my feat hurting. Obviously like everyone else i’m obsessed with chokers and this one just gives the look that bit of edginess but is a little different then the classic black band. I threw in the backpack purse to keep with the casual feel of the overall look. The bucket styling of this backpack is super cute but can sometimes be a blackhole when looking for car keys or lipstick. Good to keep in mind if you struggle with bottomless bag syndrome like me!
I want to give a big shout out to Sabrina from Street Scout Me. She shot all these amazing photos and is always so much fun to work with. If you live in the Vancouver area and are looking for a photographer I would highly recommend checking out this lovely and talent photographer.
Well that’s all I have for this week, I’ll see you next Friyay with some more outfit inspo =^.^=
