I recently went to Sephora and updated my entire foundation/face routine. All of these products are my new favourites. They make my skin look dewy fresh and who wouldn’t want that! It’s taken me years but I feel I can finally say I am an expert on my own face routine. I finally know how to use multiple products and get the desired look I want. My new task is getting a wider variety of eye looks….this may be a challenge.
Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation – I have super dry skin, so I decided to try this super hydrating foundation. This formula is designed to look great on camera, so turn on those front facing cameras and get your selfie on. When you first put on the product it almost seems as if the product doesn’t blend in right away but let it sit for a minute and it will settle on to your face. I always use a primer underneath this product, I find a hydrating primer is best to prep your skin with. I also use a damp beauty blender after I stipple my foundation in with a brush. Pressing the beauty blender all over your skin lightly will help to reduce the “cakey” look that can sometimes happen when using full coverage foundations. This is a light to medium coverage that is buildable.
Kat Von D Shade and Light Highlight and Contour Kit – This is my FAVOURITE, like I die. I have tried other contour kits and this is my holy grail. This has the perfect array of light and dark colours, the powder last forever and they blend out beautifully allowing your contour to be as dramatic or subtle as you want.
Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow Palette – O-M-G the middle highlight powder is to die for, Jaclyn Hill and Becca did such an amazing job creating this perfect colour. Its not to sparkly but still makes you shimmer and glow and it applys like a dream! Just magical and the other two colours are glorious. The new limited edition pearl will be perfect for holiday parties! Bring on the heels and champagne. The blushed copper will be the hardest for me to use as I am very pale and may come off orange BUT they are so versatile I can try out an eyeshadow look using that clour. Yay! I love multi-purpose things.
